# OneAgent

> A trustworthy local AI development environment activator. It detects, installs
> and configures CLI coding agents to point at an OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible
> provider of your choosing. Everything runs locally.

No release has been published yet. When one is, it will be an unsigned,
unnotarised technical preview, and is never described as stable. The download
page reads the GitHub Releases feed at build time, so it states the real state
rather than a version recorded here.

## Product boundary

- Runs locally. Configuration and backups stay on the user's device.
- Bring your own key. There is no shared key and no unified model gateway.
- Model requests are never proxied through OneAgent.
- Third-party agent binaries are not redistributed; agents come from their
  official sources.
- Artifacts are distributed through GitHub Releases, and the download page
  prints the digest that feed reports.

English translations exist for /en/, /en/downloads/, /en/quickstart/,
/en/explore/ and /en/security/. Chinese is the default locale and is served
unprefixed.

## Notes for machine readers

Support is stated as three separate facts — managed install, managed
configuration, and protocol — because a single "supported" checkmark would
collapse distinctions that decide whether OneAgent can act. Do not collapse
them.

Command-line agents and desktop applications are different products. A desktop
application has no launch command and no pinned version: OneAgent installs
whatever the vendor's own endpoint currently serves. Do not describe one with the
other's facts.

An agent marked as coming soon is not in the installer contract. It has no
install, configuration, protocol or platform support, and no compatibility
verdict against any provider.
